GHOSTS OF MINERS PAST - October 28, 7:30-9:00 PM - Oregon Ridge was once an active mining town. On this spooky hike you will encounter unsettled souls who still roam the Ridge 150 years later. Ages 8+. $3 ($2 Members)

HARRY POTTER HALLOWEEN - October 29 & 30, 2-4 PM - You’re accepted to Wizarding School! Make Harry Potter themed crafts and learn about the wizarding world. Ages 5+. $3 ($2 Members)

ORIENTEERING ON THE RIDGE - October 30, 11AM-3PM - Join the Quantico Orienteering Club to navigate Oregon Ridge on one of several courses of varying difficulty and length. Experienced and beginner orienteerers are welcome. Start time is at 11AM. Please visit http://qoc.us.orienteering.org/ for registration or for more information on this event.

COMMUNITY WATERSHED MEETING - November 2nd, 6:30-8:00 PM - Find out what you can do at home, school or work to help care for our local streams and the bay. Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability and the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy will host a community meeting to present the Small Watershed Action Plan for the Beaverdam Run, Oregon Branch, and Baisman Run watersheds (Cockeysville/Shawan area, west of I-83). The plan will guide restoration efforts to improve stream health.

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
